Last night was the NYC premiere of “Still Alice” and Kristen gave us a look almost as memorable as her flawless performance in the film. Donning a Roksanda Spring 2015 RTW sheer dress and Barbara Bui sandals, makeup artist Beau Nelson complimented the look with creamy skin and electric blue smoky eyes. Below you can find out how Beau achieved the look as well as shop all the Chanel products he used to create it.
Celebrity hairstylist Giannandrea worked with Kristen Stewart for the AFI FEST 2014 premiere of ‘Still Alice’ last night (November 12), creating an edgy look for her Chanel frock.
Giannandrea’s inspiration was simple: “Rocker Chic”.
Sultry, edgy, lash-y,” makeup artist Jillian Dempsey says, when we asked her to describe the look she created for Kristen Stewart at the New York premiere of Stewart’s new movie, Camp X-Ray. “The look is pretty lash-y, don’t you think? Her eyes are so expressive—I definitely wanted to play them up.” And play them up, she did. Stewart’s final eye makeup look was an ethereal combination of inky black eyeliner, an iridescent smoky eye, and a full, lush fringe—a smoky eye from our haziest daydreams.
Celebrity Hair Stylist Giannandrea wanted to have fun with Kristen’s new short haircut while keeping her look feminine, fresh, and edgy. The result was top notch!
“I wanted to give Kristen a chic and effortlessly stylish new cut, something to perfectly reflect her personality. The proportions are extremely important with a short haircut. I wanted to preserve the femininity while still bringing an edge to the look, and using a combination of thinning shears and a razor allowed me to achieve this balance. And of course, we wanted to have fun with it!”
