About KSN

I started Kstewartnews in June 2009 after realizing there was a true lack of “on-the-spot” Kristen news on Twitter. Back then, most of the Twitter pages were designated as strictly ‘Twilight’ saga or soley for the lovely Mr.Pattinson. So I figured, why not bring a little Kristen to the mix since she has so many wonderful fans. I asked two of my AMAZING gal pals if they would be interested in helping me (believe me, 3 is much better than 1!). Not to mention our honorary 4th member,Amanda who does all of our ”behind the scenes” contacting for us. And the rest is history!

As we near almost 20,000 followers, we just wanted to share a little more about why each of us started our love affair with this mezmorizing young lady. We put together some of our favorite “things” about Miss.Stewart:

Interview:

MTV- Robert&Kristen: Bonding.Praise.Kissing.Bella´s Lullaby:

I had to chose this interview as my favorite because it is ultimately what made me go koo-koo for Kristen. I found her to be so cute, yet witty and completely delightful here. Looking back now she looks like such a baby. Even though it was only 2 years ago! I mean how can you not a love a girl who watches Brando and picks her co-stars teeth? ;)

Photoshoot:

Elle-UK 2010

I absolutley love the Elle Uk shoot. The styling, the vibe, the photography. All of it was perfection. The pictures remind me of a vintage french film from the 60′s. I love her messy Bardot updo and casual, yet sexy ensembles. A little black dress, sheer stockings,a long coat open just enough to show a slither of skin, and Kristen curled up like a cozy kitten on a couch. Does it get any better?

Role:

‘Into The Wild’,2007~Tracy T:

Even though this is one Kristen’s smaller roles,it’s the one that drew me in the most. There was something about Tracy that just captured your heart. That “something” was Kristen Stewart.  She’s haunting, captivating and heart breaking all at the same time. Tracy is a bit of a lost, broken girl with an old soul. But it’s only when she takes the stage and sings that you feel like she has found home.

Feature: Those Eyes

I have to pick Kristen’s eyes as my favorite feature. That old saying “the eyes are the window to the soul” could not feel any more true than with her. Kristen’s eyes are always so expressive and a storyteller within themselves.

Interview:

Getting through this video without laughing is impossible. Kristen’s personality shines through and makes me smile everytime I watch it.

Photoshoot: Elle US,2010

This photoshoot was a fun, girly departure from the usual dark, gothic styled shoots we had been seeing during ‘The Runaways’ era. I love the play on using paparazzi pictures surrounding Kristen and her life.

Role:

‘Adventureland’,2009~Em

Adventureland’ was the first Non-Saga movie I saw Kristen in. I was captivated by her portrayal of Em as well as the time period. “Amadeus” instantly makes me think of Kristen.

Feature: Her Smile

Kristen’s smile is her least appreciated quality but can easily light up a room.

Interview: Rapid Fire,Extra 2009

‘Rapid Fire’ was nothing but adorable and fun! Knowing how private Kristen tends to be, I so appreciate when we get a small glimpse into the random inner-workings of her mind. I think Kristen is just so damn cute when she gets a tad flustered

Photoshoot: Vanity Fair,2008

Kristen in Vanity Fair was my first favorite, so I need to keep it old school. Over and above the amazing chemistry with one Mr. Pattinson that oozes off the screen, I love this shoot because Kristen killed it in that black Chanel mini and her patented Chucks. The lioness hair was so soft, but sexy. She was flirty, youthful, and gorgeous.

Role: ‘The Runaways’,Joan Jett-2010

I so admire Kristen’s passion for this role. She completely embodied ‘Joan’ as a character in a film, but she respected that she needed to be truthful to who Joan is as a person. She caught every real-life nuiance, while still making the character her own. I think this role was one Kristen was born to play, but she was also challenged as a performer– a perfect balance.

Feature: The Bitchface

Yes, I am calling this a feature. There is nothing more awe-inspiring than when Kristen shows that special fierceness in her eyes. It’s really a state of being that one can study, but few can perfect. She reserves it for those unique moments. And, you know if you are on the receiving end, you deserved it.
